Have you ever got to a place after traveling all day and been half asleep and hungry but you itch so badly to go out and discover that you can't wait until the morning? I think I do this on every journey, I even do it at home, I adore the what the world looks in darkness mixed with artificial lighting. Night time, as you may have realised, makes the world feel very different to what the daylight does especially with directions...I can say that directions are one of my stronger points. Not everyone shares this skill though. I soon found this out but not soon. We just learnt the dark.

Back to Prague, we all decided the first night as we crammed our stuff in the rooms with people still on a high from losing their flying virginity to go discover and get a bite to eat. Have you ever experienced a lot of toddlers or dogs all in one group? Then with that group tried to get them from point A to B? I wouldn't recommend it, that's what it's like with artists, filmmakers and photographers who get distracted by the smallest crack in the road. It might sound annoying, but it is one of the funniest and most wonderful things to experience due to the pure ideas and refreshing childlike freedom. It's like stepping out of a hot clean shower after being in a mud bath.

We viewed some beautiful architecture which is one of the things Prague is known for such as the dancing house and the National theatre. As we crossed the road towards the national theatre all eyes drew to me as many knew they had me trapped in the foreign country. The reason for these looks. Ballet. The supposed plan was to wear dresses, I know right. me. in a dress, I do not like dresses. I want to say now that I had never been to the ballet and I adore dance and musicals however the idea of forced dresses makes me squirm. I have never been a girly girl, I'm too interested in mess and climbing over things. I always found it stopped me from living to the fullest. I just don't have time for that.
One thing I always make time for is experimenting with foreign food. I genuinely believe in emerging yourself in foreign culture so that's what I did in Prague, expect the next article on food.
